Obelisk Guide
v2.0
🔮 What is an Obelisk?
Obelisks are custom equipment that provide bonus stats and a special proc (activated effect). Every character can equip one, and they are a core part of end‑game builds.
Unlike CTPs (which are premium and fixed), obelisks are more flexible and can be rerolled. They come with one orange stat (the fixed stat) and one proc at the bottom.
⚡ Understanding Procs
The proc is the most important part. The most valuable procs are:
- Damage Proc – “Increases basic damage by 120% for 1 attack” (or 140%, 160%, 180% or 200%). Essential for PvE Proc dealers.
- PvP Obelisk – “Invincible for 3/4/5 sec. when HP drops below 40/50%”. Crucial for PvP.
- Mini Rage – Increases basic damage by 1% per 1% of Dodge Rate/Crit Rate, regardless of Guaranteed Dodge Rate/Crit Rate (or 0.9% or 0.8%). Essential for PvE Non‑Proc dealers.
💡 Note: “Proc dealers” rely on activating a damage proc; “Non‑Proc dealers” (like those using Rage CTP or Mini Rage) benefit from consistent damage boosts.
🔍 Understanding Orange Stats (the single fixed stat)
Every obelisk has exactly one orange stat on top and one proc below. Choosing the right orange stat is just as important as the proc.
For PvE Characters
If you're using a Damage Proc or Mini Rage:
The orange stat must be one of the following:
• Ignore Defense
• Critical Rate
• Critical Damage
• Dodge
• Ignore Dodge
• For elemental dealers only: the matching elemental damage (Fire, Poison, Lightning, Cold, Mind) – this can replace one of the above.
Non‑elemental dealers – the orange stat must be from the main list (no elemental damage). Aim for the stat that helps you cap Ignore Defense or boost crits.
Elemental dealers – you want the orange stat to be the matching elemental damage (e.g., Fire Damage). This is usually better than a generic offensive stat because it multiplies your damage.
✅ Good examples:
• Non‑elemental: Ignore Defense 30% + 140% Damage Proc
• Elemental (Fire): Fire Damage 35% + 160% Damage Proc
• Mini Rage user: Critical Rate 30% + Mini Rage
For PvP Characters
The orange stat MUST be:
Guard Break Immunity (applies to: self)
There is no other orange stat – just this one. The proc must be an invincibility proc (preferably “when attacking” or “when HP drops below X%”).
✅ Good PvP examples:
• Guard Break Immunity + 5 sec. Invincibility when HP below 40%
• Guard Break Immunity + 4 sec. Invincibility when HP below 50%
⚠️ Without Guard Break Immunity, your character will be locked in hitstun and die instantly in high‑level PvP.
🏆 Which Obelisks are Worth Keeping?
PvE Damage Dealer (Proc): One orange stat from the allowed PvE pool + a 160%+ damage proc.
PvE Non‑Proc Dealer (Mini Rage): One orange stat from the allowed PvE pool + Increase damage by 0.9% per 1% of Critical Rate, regardless of Guaranteed Critical Rate.
PvP Character: Guard Break Immunity + When HP is below 50%, Invincible (5 sec.).
💡 Tip: If you get an obelisk with a good proc but a useless orange stat, it can still be usable. Never throw away a 120%+ damage proc or Mini Rage without checking the orange stat!
🦸 Character Examples
Here are a few popular characters and the obelisks that work well for them (check the Characters page for full details).
Sharon Rogers (PvE Proc) Damage Proc
Ignore Defense + 140% damage proc
Sentry (PvP) Invincibility
Guard Break Immunity + 5 sec. invincibility when HP below 50%
Human Torch (Elemental PvE) Fire Damage
Fire Damage + 160% damage proc
💡 Final Advice
Always check the Characters page for the recommended obelisk of each specific hero. When in doubt:
- For PvE proc dealers → damage proc + an offensive orange stat (from the allowed pool).
- For PvE non‑proc dealers → Mini Rage + an offensive orange stat (from the allowed pool).
- For PvP → Guard Break Immunity + invincibility.
⚠️ Obelisks can be rerolled using obelisk fragments and gold, but you might lose a good proc – be careful!
